Direct Support Professional (DSP) – In-Home & Community Supports

Job Description:

As a Direct Support Professional with Lifeline 2 Health, you’ll provide hands-on support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. Your role is to promote independence, dignity, and safety while helping each person engage meaningfully in daily life.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with personal care and daily living activities

• Supporting community participation, recreation, and social engagement

• Encouraging skill-building, independence, and self-advocacy

• Ensuring safety and well-being in all environments

• Collaborating with families and care teams to follow individualized service plans

Qualifications:

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

• Ability to pass background checks and required clearances

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred)

• Previous caregiving or healthcare experience a plus, but not required — training provided
